About the Data

Job information and statistics are provided via a report produced by Team Corona, also known as the Economic Development department. Team Corona's main objectives focus on bringing business to Corona, helping it thrive, and creating new businesses and jobs for our community. The data in this dashboard is uploaded into Socrata on a yearly basis.
While Corona currently has a large commuter population, the City of Corona is working hard to bring more jobs to the area and reduce traffic on the freeways.
The jobs base in Corona has steadily increased since 2010 and continues to climb.
A marketing partnership between the City of Corona and the Corona Chamber of Commerce, “Corona 2020,” aims to add 7,000 new jobs in Corona and thereby reducing 1 million hours of traffic by the year 2020.
